Lewisia cotyledon is a California native succulent, 4-6 inches tall and 8-12 inches wide, with a flat rosette of oval to spoon-shaped leaves and stems bearing sprays of pink, white, or yellow-orange flowers in spring. Native to rocky soils in coastal mountains of northern California. Sun to light shade, excellent drainage. Best along the coast. Good rock garden plant.
