Warm days and winter rains mean the growing season is upon us. It’s a perfect time of year to work in your garden. Need pollinator plants? Food for birds? Shrubbery to hide a fence? Deer-resistant shrubs? The Marin CNPS Plant Sale will have it—and more! They’ve been working hard to collate a terrific selection of plants for the spring sale, with choices for all kinds of microclimates and sun exposures.

 

The schedule for the online portion of the sale is as follows:

Online sales open: Thursday April 9th at 6pm
Online sales close: Monday April 13th at 6pm
Pickup for prepaid on-line orders: Saturday, April 18th from 10:30am to 1:30pm at Bon Air Shopping Center, on Sir Francis Drake Blvd just off 101 in Greenbrae, Marin County

The sale won’t go live until 6pm on April 9th so don’t be surprised if there are no plants listed before then.

There will be a wide range of flowering shrubs, perennials and annuals—old favorites and some new choices as well. All of these species offer great options for increasing the biodiversity in your yard.
